Ok so this game is sooo much better than a Rorschach ink blot test! That being said this game is a set of mental puzzles that need to be answered by moving de blog around the map, and all you have to do is never use the same space twice. Sounds easy right? World Domination in your hand!
Well this is one I have been looking forward to guys! I grew up on Firaxis games and have logged countless hours in the civ universe as well as on Alpha Centari (where the heck is the sequal to Alpha Centari???). So naturally as soon as I found out that Windows Phone was getting Civilization Revolution I was super happy! The first thing I noticed as soon as I jumped into the game was that this game plays a TON faster than other civ games. In fact you can finish a game in just a few hours rather than entire days for the full version PC games. At first glance this may seem like a bummer (that they deviated from the norm), but for a mobile device this is perfect. However the very next thing I noticed was my phone chewing through battery like never before, and this is not a good feature for a mobile game. However so long as you are no more than 2 hours from a plug in (that about all my battery can take playing this game) then this game is the best deal on the marketplace IMHO. Read More

Lara Croft and Guardian of light is the next installment in the beloved Lara Croft series. A classic franchise that has entertained fans for over a decade has made its way to the Xbox live arcade. First you should know this game was multiform the ground up with cooperative multiplayer in mind. The game is much more satisfying when played with a good friend, not only because it is hilariously fun to troll each other sending your partner plummeting to his death, but also because the awesome timed moments are even more exciting. Going for gold! Farm Frenzy is one of those games that at its base level is just simply to easy to be considered a game (I dont think you can lose to begin with). However as soon as you decide that you are gonna "Go for the Gold" on every level the game becomes quite fun! To go for the gold you have to beat the clock that is shown in the bottom right hand corner. In fact about 1/2 the levels make you think out a strategy before starting in order to get gold, about 25% required tring a few different things to get gold (meaning my plan was not good enough), 10% of the levels were very challenging, and 3-4 levels even when played perfectly come down to 1-2 seconds left. For me that was where the fun was at, however my sisters and mother just love the fact that they can "Win" levels. Read More
Pax Prime was fantastic this year! Many great indie games have surfaced and are now aiming high. Mojang (creators of Minecraft) has released alpha codes for their new game "Scrolls" and have announced another game called "Cobalt". Another smaller scale game was previewed it is called "Orcs Must Die!" and it is being developed by Robot Entertainment. Many big name games were showed and of course look amazing. Read More
Ski bowling for robots Krashlander is a WP7 game which has to versions, free and paid. I will be reviewing the free version of the game. Krashlander places the player in the shoes of a skier who is trying to knock down robots on his way down the slopes. While it is not an xbox live supported game Krashlander does offer some fun. The balls fly fast! FastBall 2 is an ultra-casual game that well is awesome! It's a little difficult to describe FastBall 2. It is an action game where you tap to avoid obstacles and get occasional speed boosts! Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed this game and here's why. Read More
Is a swamp even worth defending? Swamp Defense does a good job on providing an enjoyable expierence on the mobile platform. I admire this game for forcing people to break out of the old, stale defense strategies. Swamp Defense is one of the better games out there on the Windows Phone 7 platform, and the best tower defense game. I enjoyed the graphics, which were certainly rich and pleasant to look at. Oh Noes! This game looked appealing based on the simple art and possibility of a quick and fun game to play here and there. As more of the game was played it took longer and longer to complete levels, making it less attractive to play when waiting for something quick. Read More
